Bonar Hutchison: Level 3 Iyengar Yoga Teacher
Bonar first began to practice and study yoga over thirty years ago. Drawn to the physical and psychological benefits of yoga, his commitment to his daily practice and exploration into yogic philosophy inspired him to become a yoga teacher.
After qualifying as an Iyengar Yoga teacher in 2002, he spent time in Pune, India, studying at the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute with the Iyengar family. He then began teaching regular, classes, workshops and then later yoga retreats and holidays in the UK, Ireland and in Spain
In August 2006, he opened Yogasarvasya Studio in the West End of Glasgow, focused on the teachings of BKS Iyengar.
Bonar has since been teaching regular classes in various studios and online. More recently he has began focusing on mentoring regular students in class to become qualified Iyengar Yoga teachers.
Being very fortunate to be taught by many experienced and inspiring teachers over time he has always been grateful for the light that they have shone into his daily yoga practice.
